The Sandusky Blue Streaks won against the Columbian Tornadoes last Tuesday with 66 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Saturday. Sandusky had just enough and edged Columbian out 66-63. Winning may never get old, but Sandusky sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Sandusky's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jason Henlon, who scored 20 points along with five rebounds. Henlon hasn't dropped below 15points for five straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Kobe Brown, who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds.
Sandusky's victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Columbian, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-4.
Sandusky will be playing in front of their home fans against Norwalk at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Norwalk is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. As for Columbian, they will challenge Perkins at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Perkins has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
