The Rocky Mountain Grizzlies's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. Their tough 59-34 loss to Worland might stick with them for a while. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Rocky Mountain in their matchups with Worland: they've now lost four in a row.
Several Grizzlies players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Bryce Haslem, who scored seven points along with five assists. Another player making a difference was Cole Minchow, who scored 12 points along with two steals.
Rocky Mountain has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season. As for Worland, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-4.
Rocky Mountain won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Wyoming Indian at 2:00 p.m. on January 13th. Wyoming Indian is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak. Worland on the road again on Friday and play against Lovell at 7:00 p.m. on January 19th. Lovell is on a three-game streak of home wins, Worland a six-game streak of away wins (dating back to last season)-- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
