The Horton Chargers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They were outmatched by Pleasant Ridge on the road and fell 69-18. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Horton in their matchups with Pleasant Ridge: they've now lost four in a row.
It was another big night for Isabela Major, who scored 18 points along with three steals for Pleasant Ridge. Those 18 points set a new season-high mark for Major. Another player making a difference was Ava Potter, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and five assists.
Horton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Pleasant Ridge, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.
Horton will be home for the holidays to greet Jackson Heights at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Jackson Heights focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 last Friday. As for Pleasant Ridge, they will head out on the road to face off against Atchison-Maur Hill-Mount Academy on Friday.
