Despite the defeat, Tillamook saw an underclassman step up: Aubrey Hilton scored 23 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hilton has scored all season. Vivian Vogel was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Tillamook has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season. As for St. Helens, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tillamook will face off against Astoria at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for St. Helens, they will head out on the road to take on Seaside at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Seaside presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than St. Helens in Oregon (Seaside is ranked 46th, while St. Helens is ranked 129th).
