Bermudian Springs has been on the road for three straight, but on Friday they'll finally head home. They will take on The York County Tech Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, Bermudian Springs was able to grind out a solid victory over Delone Catholic, taking the game 28-20.
Among those leading the charge was Eddie Sebright, who rushed for 133 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 carries. Sebright was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 58 yards. Another player making a difference was Tyler Staub, who gained 74 total yards and a touchdown.
Meanwhile, York County Tech sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 8-6 victory over Fairfield on Friday.
Bermudian Springs' win was their third straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 5-3. Admittedly, the team didn't face the toughest opposition across those games, namely Delone Catholic, Fairfield, and Hanover. As for York County Tech, their win on Friday bumped their record up to 3-6.
Everything came up roses for Bermudian Springs against York County Tech when the teams last played back in October of 2022 as the team secured a 53-20 win. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was York County Tech's Anthony Torres, who rushed for 210 yards, and also caught a touchdown. Now that he won't be playing on Friday, will it be that much easier for Bermudian Springs to walk away with another win? Check MaxPreps.com after the match to find out.
