 On East Lake's side,  Andrew Sheffield made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  scored two  runs while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of  Daniel Spicher, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-3.
 Calvary Christian pushed their record up to 13-1 with that  win, which was their fifth straight  at home. Those good results were due in large part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 8.2 runs per game.
