Holbrook is a perfect 6-0 against Page since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Roadrunners will face off against the Sand Devils at 4:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Holbrook took a eight-run defeat the last time they faced off against Show Low, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Roadrunners skirted past the Cougars 3-2.

Baler Reidhead spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on five hits. He has become a key player for Holbrook: the team is 4-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 5-10 otherwise.
At the plate, Holbrook's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Ben Eisele, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Ty Larson was another, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
Meanwhile, Page gave up the first runs last Monday, but they didn't let that get them down. They walked away with a 6-2 victory over Ganado.
Page also got a great performance from Jaren Scott as he struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. That's the most strikeouts Scott has posted since back in March of 2024.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Mason Yazzie, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Mckyle Manygoats, who scored a run and stole three bases while going 2-for-4.
Page was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .467. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Holbrook is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-11 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Page, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
Everything went Holbrook's way against Page in their previous meeting back in March of 2018, as Holbrook made off with a 21-4 victory. Do the Roadrunners have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Sand Devils turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
