Adding to the longest winning streak in Freelance this week, Valor Christian beat Palmer 51-0. The win marks sixth in a row for the the Eagles.
Valor Christian took down the Terrors 51-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. A.J. Cecil threw for 175 yards and 3 touchdowns during the win.
Rod Sherman's team's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Christian McCaffrey contributed 50 yards. Clarke Cooper helped Valor Christian's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 51 yards.
Booker Schelhaas was the best wideout in the league this week as the Eagles topped Palmer. Schelhaas tallied 4 receptions for 61 yards. Cooper helped Valor Christian's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 51 yards.
Valor Christian's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Eagles feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Cecil has thrown for 1,237 yards and 18 touchdowns this season, while Marcus Wilson has 15 catches for 363 yards.
Valor Christian's McCaffrey needs only 69 yards against Rock Canyon next week to surpass 1,000 rushing yards for the season. In 79 carries McCaffrey has accumulated 931 yard this year.
The Eagles led the league in scoring this week by notching 51 points on Justin Rich's team. Cecil in the win.
