It was a good run, but Hunter College unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell 2-0 to the Long Island City Bulldogs. Considering the last time the Hawks couldn't score was back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.

Hunter College's defeat dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Long Island City, their win bumped their record up to 8-3.

Hunter College does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Long Island City, they will challenge Brooklyn Technical at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Engineers will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight.
