Baseball Recap: The Bay School Gets the Win

While The Bay School's win against San Domenico wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bay School Breakers had just enough and edged out the San Domenico Panthers 2-1 on Monday. The Breakers haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Ansel Hermanos spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on two hits and racked up ten Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, The Bay School's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Ari Samson, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI. The dominant performance gave Samson a new career-high in hits. Max Lee also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen bases of the season.

The Bay School's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for San Domenico, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

Coming up, The Bay School will be playing in front of their home fans against San Francisco Waldorf at 3:30 p.m. on March 18th. As for San Domenico, they will head out on the road to challenge Gateway at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
