The Bonham Warriors will head out on the road to take on the Blue Ridge Tigers at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Bonham and eight for the Tigers.
Last Tuesday, Bonham suffered a tough 61-36 loss at the hands of the Panthers.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Heath Brown, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Brynlee Owens was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Meanwhile, Blue Ridge was the victim of a tough 52-27 loss at the hands of the Bulldogs on Friday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Blue Ridge has scored all season.
Bonham has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 17-14 record this season. As for Blue Ridge, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 16-13.
Bonham was able to grind out a solid win over the Tigers in their previous meeting back in January, winning 64-56. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bonham since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
