Jones County is 7-1 against the Tigers since January of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. Defeat or not, Jones County got some senior leadership from Cooper Feddersen and Kaden Kinsley. Feddersen dropped a double-double on 14 points and 13 rebounds, while Kinsley. scored 22 points along with two steals. Feddersen is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last five games he's played. Jace Nix was another key contributor, scoring six points.
Dupree can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They secured a 53-48 W over Little Wound.
Jones County's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Dupree, their victory bumped their record up to 6-7.
Everything went Jones County's way against the Tigers when the teams last played back in February of 2023 as the Coyotes made off with a 65-43 victory. Does Jones County have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Tigers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
