They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 46-43 victory over Towers. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory Eagle's Landing Christian Academy has posted since November 28, 2023.
Eagle's Landing Christian Academy found their leader in underclassman Jazmine Lopez, who scored 24 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. That makes it 12 consecutive games in which Lopez has scored at least a third of Eagle's Landing Christian Academy's points. Another player making a difference was Kara Anthony, who scored seven points along with ten rebounds.
Eagle's Landing Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 7-13. As for Towers, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-19.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eagle's Landing Christian Academy will take on the Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Towers, they will play host again and welcome the Chargers, where tip off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
