Volleyball Recap: Channelview's Losing Streak Snapped at Eight Games

Channelview needed a changed in momentum after dropping eight straight matches and they got it from Vivian Arredondo. The Falcons had just enough and edged out the North Shore Mustangs 3-2 with plenty of help from Arredondo, who had 14 digs and two aces. She has been hot recently, having also posted 16 or more assists the last four times she's played.

Channelview wouldn't go down easily and took North Shore into a fifth set where they got it done with a ten-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-18, 16-25, 18-25, 15-5.

When it comes to explaining why North Shore lost on Tuesday, don't look at Zyriah Hailey. Despite the final result, she had 19 digs and three aces.

Channelview's victory bumped their record up to 10-18. As for North Shore, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-20.

Channelview didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Goose Creek Memorial on the 17th.
