Lake Mary had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Oviedo Lions 9-7. That's more bragging rights for the Rams, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Lake Mary's win bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Oviedo, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lake Mary will take on Pine Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Pine Ridge's pitching crew has only allowed 2.2 runs per game this season, so Lake Mary's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
