The Savanna Rebels scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 90-43 win over Santa Ana Valley at home. Winning may never get old, but Savanna sure is getting used to it with their eighth in a row.
It was another big night for Dontey Henderson, who scored 29 points along with six rebounds. He has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last five times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Damarian Wright, who scored 17 points.
Savanna is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season. As for Santa Ana Valley, they now have a losing record at 9-10.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Savanna will take on Anaheim at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Santa Ana Valley won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Entrepreneur at 6:00 p.m. on January 19th.
