Marianna had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time.   Kennedy Temples spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered  just two earned  (and one unearned) runs on five hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  pitched less than five  innings every time she's  pitched this season.
 On the hitting side, Marianna let  Amarii Spires and  Murphy Mitchell loose on the outfield. Spires  scored two  runs and  stole four bases while going 2-for-3, while  Mitchell  scored a  run and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances.  Jadyn Riano was another key contributor,  going 2-for-4 with a  home run.
 On North Bay Haven Academy's side,  Bailee Gladden made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  got on base  in all four of her plate appearances with a  triple, a  run,  and a  double. Another player making a difference was  Taylor Mallon, who  went 2-for-3 with a  double and  an  RBI.
 Marianna is  on a roll lately: they've  won six of their last seven games,  which provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record  this season. As for North Bay Haven Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-6.
 Marianna will take on Baldwin at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Baldwin is coming into the  match with nine straight  wins on the road,  so Marianna will have to stop a  squad with plenty of momentum. North Bay Haven Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
