Newton County Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least ten hits in three consecutive contests.

Newton County Academy's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-10. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.7 runs over those games. As for River Oaks, their loss dropped their record down to 15-8.

Tuesday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. River Oaks has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .476. However, it's not like Newton County Academy struggles in that department as they've averaged .459.
