Alvin has not had much luck with Strake Jesuit recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Alvin lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Elijah Mckinzy, who scored 11 points. Evan Falcon was another key contributor, scoring six points.
Alvin has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost nine of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-19 record this season. As for Strake Jesuit, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-15.
Alvin will head out on the road to square off against Pearland at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Pearland presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Alvin in Texas (Pearland is ranked 212th, while Alvin is ranked 799th). As for Strake Jesuit, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Dawson at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Dawson is looking to tack on another W to their six-game streak on the road.
