Jaren Garrison Delivers Best  Effort of Season
 Sadly,  Jaren Garrison posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Little River over Central Plains on Friday. Garrison rushed for 169 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries, good enough to  set a new career-high in  rushing yards in the process. He is becoming a predictor of Little River's success: when he posts  at  least 100  rushing yards the team is undefeated (and 1-2 when he doesn't).
 For the year,  Garrison  has run in 9 touchdowns while averaging 96.7 rushing yards per game. He's  made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year,  he was only averaging one  rushing yard per game.

 Winning always takes teamwork, but  on Friday  Carlos Duran stepped things up a notch to give Solomon the 'W'. Duran was unstoppable, picking up 207 receiving yards and three touchdowns. He was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 68 yards.
 Solomon's victory  ended  a  seven-game drought on the road  dating back to last season and  puts them at 2-5. Duran and Solomon will be playing in front of their home fans against Little River  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.

  Breken Coup posted a new career-high in  rushing yards  on Friday. He threw for 272 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 13.6 yards per attempt.
 On the year,  Coup  has thrown 6 touchdowns (and  and only 1 pick) while averaging 140.8 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive:  after four games last season,  he was only averaging two  rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 7.25  rushing yards.

 Rural Vista [Hope/White City] picked up their fifth consecutive win   on Friday thanks in part to  Kole Riedy. Riedy was dynamite, rushing for 47 yards and a touchdown.
 Rural Vista [Hope/White City]'s victory was  their fourth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 6-1. Riedy will have a chance to log another big game when he takes on Burlingame on Friday.
