The Bodine Ambassadors will head out on the road to take on the Constitution Generals at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Bodine sitting on 11 straight victories and Constitution on three.
Bodine is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They never let Simon Gratz get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. The Ambassadors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by six runs or more this season.

Bodine got a massive performance out of Prince Culpepper, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. Those three runs gave Culpepper a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Marvin Wells, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and two runs.
Bodine was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .379. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .379 or higher in three consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Constitution made easy work of Roxborough last Thursday and carried off a 21-11 victory. The Generals are also no stranger to big wins: their blowout was the fourth match they've won by 6+ runs this season.
Jayden Gordy was a standout: he got on base in five of his six plate appearances with four runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. He has become a key player for Constitution: the team is 5-2 when he posts at least two runs, but 1-2 otherwise. Wes Dingman was another key player, going 3-for-5 with four runs, two stolen bases, and one double.
Bodine pushed their record up to 11-0 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.3 runs over those games. As for Constitution, their record now sits at 6-4.
Tuesday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Bodine hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .496. However, it's not like Constitution struggles in that department as they've averaged .454. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Bodine couldn't quite get it done against Constitution in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 as they fell 4-1. Can the Ambassadors avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
