The Sanford Warriors waltzed into their matchup on Friday with four straight wins but they left with five. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Tatnall 64-32 at home. Sanford has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 32 points or more this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Sanford to victory, but perhaps none more so than Nico Mcneill, who scored seven points along with seven assists and three steals. Another player making a difference was Jayden Taylor, who scored eight points along with nine rebounds and two steals.
Sanford pushed their record up to 9-3 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.5 points per game. As for Tatnall, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sanford will challenge Tower Hill at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Tower Hill will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Delaware Rankings (they are ranked 25th, while Sanford is ranked fourth). As for Tatnall, they will head out on the road to challenge Wilmington Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
