Basketball Recap: Woodlawn Piles Up the Points Against EPIC Academy

Woodlawn was handed a heart-breaking two-point defeat in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against EPIC Academy on Tuesday. Woodlawn claimed a resounding 69-32 win over the EPIC Academy The Legends. Woodlawn has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 20 points or more this season.

Several The Legends players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Trevon Johnson, who posted eight points. Another player making a difference was Noah Fletcher, who had eight points.

Woodlawn's victory bumped their record up to 13-7. As for EPIC Academy, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.

Woodlawn does not have any more games scheduled as of now. EPIC Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Bishop McNamara at 7:00 p.m. on February 21st. Bishop McNamara knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully EPIC Academy likes a good challenge.
