Trivium Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight  loss. They wound up on the wrong side of a  rough 17-1 walloping at the hands of the Arizona Lutheran Academy Coyotes. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Trivium Prep of the  22-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  two weeks ago.
 Trivium Prep saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Isaiah Lopez, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-2. Lopez has been consistent recently: he hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in five consecutive pitching appearances.
 On Arizona Lutheran Academy's side,  Jorge Lomeli and  Corey Riesop were a major factor while hitting and pitching. Throwing,  Lomeli   pitched three innings while giving up   no  earned run off   three  hits. Meanwhile,  Riesop   pitched  an inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. At bat,  Lomeli  scored a  run while going 2-for-4, while  Riesop  scored four  runs and  stole two bases while going 2-for-3.
 In other batting news,  Noah Urbieta and  Ryan Pufahl did most of the damage at the plate:  Urbieta  got on base  in all four of his plate appearances with two  RBI and a  double, while  Pufahl  scored a  run and  stole three bases while  getting on base  in two of his four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Isaiah Adriano, who  got on base  in all three of his plate appearances with a  triple, a  run,  and  an  RBI.
 Trivium Prep's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Arizona Lutheran Academy, the  victory was  the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-2.
 Trivium Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Arizona Lutheran Academy also has no future games currently scheduled.
