The Crofton Warriors were the 56-50 winner over the Guardian Angels Central Catholic Bluejays when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Crofton fell 54-41 to Guardian Angels Central Catholic on Saturday.
Crofton's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Seth Pinkelman, who scored 10 points. Another player making a difference was Trevor Allen, who scored 9 points.
Crofton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Guardian Angels Central Catholic, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Crofton will head out on the road to face off against Cedar Catholic on Tuesday. As for Guardian Angels Central Catholic, they will be playing at home against Norfolk Catholic at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday.
