Livermore took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 51-19 victory over the Castro Valley Trojans. The Cowboys pushed the score to 37-13 by the end of the third, a deficit the Trojans had little chance of recovering from.

Matteo Lortie threw for 334 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes. AJ Carey was his top target, picking up 142 receiving yards and one TD.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Livermore will square off against Sacramento at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Castro Valley, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Foothill at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
