Daniel Bray had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 253 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 12.7 yards per carry. Bray really tore up the turf during one magnificent 77-yard run. Austin Cummins was another key contributor, throwing for 130 yards and two touchdowns.
When it comes to explaining why Chapin lost, one person who can't be blamed is Daveon Singleton. Despite the final result, he rushed for 127 yards and a touchdown on only 13 carries, and also threw for 115 yards and a touchdown.
Cooper is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 5-6 record this season. As for Chapin, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-4.
Cooper will face off against Colleyville Heritage at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Colleyville Heritage is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road. Chapin does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
