Arcanum waltzed into their game last Friday with two straight wins but they left with three. They came out on top against Newton Local by a score of 53-40.
Braylen Etherington was the offensive standout of the game as he scored 11 points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Regan Christ, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, Versailles unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak last Friday. They took a 56-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of Marion Local.
Arcanum has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a massive bump to their 13-9 record this season. As for Versailles, their loss dropped their record down to 11-11.
