The Dymally Challengers will head out on the road to face off against the Banning Pilots at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Dymally will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
With a playoff game on the line, Dymally rose to the challenge on Thursday. They won a matchup that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by Dorsey 29-28. The score was all tied up 8-8 at the break, but Dymally was the better team in the second half.
Meanwhile, Banning strolled past Cleveland with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 28-14. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Banning.
Banning's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Manny Sisneros led the charge by rushing for 72 yards and two touchdowns. Jordan Villanueva and his 80 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Banning's victory.
Their wins bumped Dymally to 9-3 and Banning to 6-6.
