Slidell waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They blew past the Chalmette Owls 72-45. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 23 points or more this season.

Slidell got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ayden Ducre out in front who shot 90% from the field en route to 23 points and seven boards. Those 23 points gave Ducre a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jalen Lucas, who posted 11 points along with six rebounds and four steals.

Slidell smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in three consecutive games.

Slidell's victory bumped their record up to 22-6. As for Chalmette, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-11.

Slidell wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 71-50 defeat against Northshore on the 3rd. As for Chalmette, they have also already played their next contest, a 51-43 loss against Salmen on the 3rd.
