If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Springfield Catholic. They will challenge Hollister on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Both teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
Springfield Catholic found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 7-34 punch to the gut against Cassville last week.
Meanwhile, Hollister took a serious blow against Lamar, falling 6-51. Hollister were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-22.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous game, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
