Even though Leflore County scored an imposing 56 points on Friday, Greenwood still came out on top. Greenwood walked away with a 64-56 victory over Leflore County. Given Greenwood's advantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi basketball rankings (they are ranked 23rd, while Leflore County is ranked 267th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Kenzavius Lundy was the offensive standout of the contest as he dropped a double-double on 10 points and 13 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Carl Lucas Jr., who scored 16 points along with 6 rebounds.
