Softball Recap: Crivitz Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Crivitz, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Pembine/Goodman Panthers on Friday as they made off with a 12-1 win. The Wolverines' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Izzy Wesolowski was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Kiya Brand, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Crivitz always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .531. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Crivitz's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Pembine/Goodman, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crivitz will take on Little Chute at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Wolverines are facing the Mustangs at the right time seeing as the Mustangs are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Pembine/Goodman, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against White Lake at 5:00 p.m.
