Central Catholic is 6-0 against David Douglas since October of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Thursday. The Central Catholic Rams will look to defend their home field  against the David Douglas Scots at 7:00  p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Central Catholic has eight straight  wins, David Douglas has seven straight  defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
 Central Catholic stacked a eighth blowout onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They took their  contest on the road  with ease, bagging a  56-14 victory over Clackamas. Given Central Catholic's advantage  in MaxPreps' Oregon football rankings  (they are ranked second, while Clackamas is ranked 44th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
  Cru Newman continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 293 yards and three touchdowns while completing 83.3% of his passes, and also punching in two touchdowns on the ground.  Tyson Davis was another key contributor, gaining 133 total yards and two touchdowns.
 Meanwhile, David Douglas fell victim to Gresham's stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They were outmatched by the Gophers at home  and fell  42-0.
 Central Catholic's victory was  their eighth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 8-0. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.1 points per game. As for David Douglas, their loss  dropped their record down to 1-7.
 Everything came up roses for Central Catholic against David Douglas when the teams last played  back in October of 2022 as the  squad secured a  79-0 victory. Will Central Catholic repeat their success,  or does  David Douglas have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
