The Aiken Falcons's three-game losing streak came to an end on Saturday. They snuck past North College Hill with a 40-36 victory. The win was just what Aiken needed coming off of a 56-27 loss in their prior match.
Aiken found their leader in underclassman Kaniah Woods, who scored 29 points along with nine steals.
Aiken's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-7. As for North College Hill, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 1-11.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Aiken will take on Shroder Paideia Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Shroder Paideia Academy comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 24 points in their last five games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for North College Hill, they will be playing at home against St. Bernard-Elmwood Place at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
