Kennedale has gone 7-1 against Lake Worth recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Wildcats will face off against the Bullfrogs at 7:30 p.m. One thing working in Kennedale's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points in their last four games.
Kennedale barely beat Ranchview the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wildcats claimed a resounding 48-21 victory over the Wolves. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Wildcats' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 281st, while the Wolves are ranked 636th).

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Kennedale was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 474 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
Kennedale didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Bingham and Landon Watkins. Another thorn in Ranchview's side was Kyler Winans, who made eight total tackles (2.0 for loss) and defended one pass.
Meanwhile, Lake Worth played a tough contest on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 50-13 loss at the hands of Castleberry. The Bullfrogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-0.
Kennedale will have to keep a close watch on Lucas Davis and Eddie Paige, a pair of players who had a big impact on Lake Worth's prior game. Davis threw for 244 yards and one TD, while Paige picked up 52 receiving yards and one touchdown.
Lake Worth's defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Kennedale, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.
Everything came up roses for Kennedale against Lake Worth in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, as the squad secured a 34-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
