Summit's game  last Saturday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Franklin Admirals  a   10-0 shutout. Considering the Spartans have won six contests by more than five  runs this season, Tuesday's  blowout was nothing new.
Summit got a great performance from  Addison Johnson as she  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out six over five innings pitched.
 At the plate,  Paityn Robertson was a standout: she scored three  runs and  stole three bases while going 3-for-3. Those  three  stolen bases gave  her a new career-high.  Brooklyn Robertson also deserves some recognition as  she  snagged her first  stolen base of the season.
Summit's victory was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 9-8. Those  home  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Franklin, their loss dropped their record down to 2-12.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Summit will square off against Nolensville at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The Knights' pitching crew has only allowed 3.1  runs per game  this season, so the Spartans' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Franklin, they will challenge Harpeth at 5:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. The Indians have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed seven  runs per game on average), something the Admirals will no doubt try to take advantage of.
