It was a good run, but Metro Tech unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Basha Bears. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Knights were not able to get on the board.

Basha was led to victory by Alex Ramirez IV and Taytem Tunney. Ramirez IV had eight digs and two aces, while Tunney had nine assists. That's the most aces Ramirez IV has posted over his last six matchups.

Metro Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 8-2. As for Basha, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 games. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-7 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Metro Tech will face off against Alhambra at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Basha, they will welcome Perry at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be Basha's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
