In what's become a running theme this season, the Brentwood Bruins gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They breezed by Centennial at home to the tune of 60-24. The victory was nothing new for Brentwood as they're now sitting on four straight.
It was another big night for Ella Ryan, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 16 games she's played. Ava Jarrett was another key contributor, scoring five points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Centennial's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Addison Gorday, who scored ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Bethany Wright, who scored four points along with ten rebounds.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Centennial struggled to work together and finished the game with only three assists. They are winless (0-6) when they just don't pass the ball.
Brentwood pushed their record up to 18-2 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.0 points per game. As for Centennial, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-18.
Brentwood won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against the Patriots at 6:00 p.m. on January 31st. Page will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak. As for Centennial, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Spartans at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
