The Parkway West HOYAS were the 47-45 winner over the Parkway Northwest Hoyas when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Parkway West took a 44-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of Parkway Northwest on Thursday. Parkway West has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Parkway Northwest to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jayden Gladden, who scored 14 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which Gladden has scored at least 25% of Parkway Northwest's points. Kahleem Jordan was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Parkway West's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Parkway Northwest, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Parkway West will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against TECH Freire Charter at 3:15 p.m. on December 14th. As for Parkway Northwest, they will take on Science Leadership Academy at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Science Leadership Academy and Parkway Northwest are at an even 3-3 over their past six head-to-heads.
