On Thursday, Neah Bay lost to Wahkiakum at home by a decisive 60-45 margin. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Neah Bay has scored all season.
Several Red Devils players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Mathias Greene, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jodell Wimberly, who scored 12 points along with four steals.
Neah Bay now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Wahkiakum, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.
Neah Bay will be playing at home against Chief Kitsap Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Wahkiakum, they will head out on the road to face off against Morton/White Pass at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
