The San Juan Broncos will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against the Intermountain Christian Lions at 7:00 p.m. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.
San Juan's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They took a 70-66 hit to the loss column at the hands of Grand County. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Saturday (60), San Juan still had to take the loss.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Jake Ivins, who scored 15 points along with five assists and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Anthony Done, who scored 11 points along with six assists and six rebounds.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 80-35, which was the final score in Intermountain Christian's tilt against American Prep WV on Friday. Intermountain Christian has not had much luck with American Prep WV recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
San Juan's defeat dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Intermountain Christian, they have not been sharp recently as the team has lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season.
