The Lakota West Firebirds will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against the Miami Stingarees at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lakota West will be strutting in after a win while Miami will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Wednesday, Lakota West didn't have too much trouble with Sycamore on the road as they won 55-40. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Lakota West.
Meanwhile, Miami might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Norcross an easy 51-27 victory. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Miami has scored all season.
Lakota West now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Miami, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-5.
