The Carterville Lions put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They took down Johnston City 49-32.
Amayah Doyle continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 27 points and 13 rebounds. That makes it six consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Carterville's points. Another player making a difference was Khamari Jackson, who scored 11 points.
Carterville's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Johnston City, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.
Carterville will be playing in front of their home fans against Herrin at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Johnston City is on the road again on Monday and play against Vienna at 6:00 p.m. on November 27th.
