It was another big night for Derek Green, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 15 rebounds. The game was his seventh in a row with at least ten points. Asany Richmond was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with 14 rebounds and six assists.
Harnett Central lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being DJ Brown, who scored ten points. Those ten points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Malachi Elliott, who scored nine points.
Harnett Central struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only two offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
E.E. Smith's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Harnett Central, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-4.

As for Harnett Central, they will take on Terry Sanford at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Terry Sanford focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Friday.
