Stanley entered their tilt with Byrd on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 71-64 win over the Byrd Yellow Jackets. While the Panthers didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-23), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Stanley pushed their record up to 9-6-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.3 points per game. As for Byrd, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.

Stanley won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Weston at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Byrd, they will be home for the holidays to greet Woodlawn-Shreveport at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
