After flying high against the Kimball Knights last Friday, the Molina Jaguars came back down to earth. Molina was outmatched by the Longhorns at home and fell 76-30. Molina has struggled against the Longhorns recently, as their matchup on Tuesday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Molina had strong showings from Theayah Guidry, who scored 13 points, and Keirra Hunter, who scored 12 points.
White found their leader in underclassman Dani Diaz, who almost dropped a double-double on 24 points and nine steals. Diaz hasn't dropped below 23 points for eight straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Lisee McGovern, who scored 15 points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Molina has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-10 record this season. As for White, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 27-3.
Molina will head out on the road to challenge the Leopards at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Adamson comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 23 points in their last nine games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. White does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
