Monroe has relied on a stalwart defense averaging 14.83 points allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Monday. They took a 32-19 hit to the loss column at the hands of the East Eagles. The Red Jackets' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Monroe now has a losing record of 5-6-1. As for East, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That somehow still isn't as good as their 8-1-1 record this season.

Monroe wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 38-6 defeat against Pittsford on the 15th. As for East, they have also already played their next contest, an 18-13 victory against Irondequoit on the 15th.
