Joseph City is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Grand Canyon 89-44. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 20 points or more this season.

Joseph City's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Cort Miller led the charge by going 6 of 8 from beyond the arc on his way to 20 points along with seven steals and five assists. Miller is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in the last five games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Eli James, who went 11 for 18 en route to 23 points.
Joseph City smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 11 consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, Ash Fork ended up a good deal behind Williams on Thursday and lost 63-44. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Joseph City will have to contain Josue Tellez as he made an impact in Ash Fork's last game. He went 8 of 19 on his way to 20 points and eight boards. Another player making a difference was Jhovanny Vazquez, who posted six points.
Joseph City is on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.7 points per game. As for Ash Fork, their loss dropped their record down to 5-13.
This contest is shaping up to be a blowout: Joseph City hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 65.5 points per game. It's a different story for Ash Fork, though, as they've been averaging only 34.7 points. The only thing between Joseph City and another offensive beatdown is Ash Fork.
