West Central recap October 29, 2013
South Putnam added to the longest winning streak in West Central this week by beating Trinity Lutheran, 64-0. The win marks eighth in a row for the the Eagles.
South Putnam took down the Cougars 64-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Mark Osmialowski threw for 285 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Trevor Ellis was a force in the backfield as Monrovia defeated South Vermillion.
Seth Brown was the best wideout in the league this week as Greencastle fell to Tri-West Hendricks. Brown racked up 9 receptions for 129 yards. Nathan Tesmer helped Greencastle's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 24 yards.
The Tiger Cubs' Tyler Scott and Brown led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 5-10 quarterback Scott has thrown for 2,236 yards this season, while Brown has 65 catches for 1,020 yards. Troy Burgess' team's Lucas Lorian leads the league in rushing yards with 1,793.
The Eagles led West Central in scoring this week after putting up 64 points on Trinity Lutheran.
